At EDL Studios we believe Burlesque is for everyone, regardless of gender or body type! Individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and skill levels are invited to join in celebrating their bodies, exploring movement, and developing skills. Whether participants are beginners or have dance experience, the aim is to create an inclusive environment where everyone can express themselves and learn at their own pace. No dance experience is necessary—each step, shimmy, and bump will be guided with support and encouragement.

Participants at EDL Studios workshops must be 18 years or older due to mature content, adult themes, and language used during the sessions.

Please refer to the descriptions for each workshop as requirements may vary slightly between each workshop. Otherwise please wear clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Options include leggings, shorts, singlets, or even lingerie. The key is ensuring you can move freely and safely. While dance heels are recommended for practicing stance and technique, flat dance shoes or bare feet are also acceptable. Wear what makes you feel ready to strut!

Please refer to the descriptions of the specific workshop that you are booking, as the requirements will be listed there. While a pen and notebook can be helpful for taking notes, they're optional.
